And we're back! Another week another challenge and this week's was to just take a picture. That's it. Oh, sorry, the challenge is to not look at it, see all of its flaws, and edit it into perfection. Hahahahahaha. Good luck.
As someone who considers themselves an artist it's hard to just do something and then stop. To not pick at it until I've made it perfect. I know other artists in other mediums that feel the same way. You start to create something, then you get close to it, then you lose perspective and 'oh, god, what if it's not perfect and everyone hates it?' The free spirited, easy going artist stereotype is definitely not accurate if you've ever watched one actually work.
So, it's a challenge in self restraint. In art in its naked, pure form.
