This week's challenge was to capture a specific subject: trash. There are a lot of ways to approach this. Journalistically, artistically, as a message. When I started I had a plan to peel some apples and carefully position them in the most aesthetically pleasing way. But life got in the way and I found some other options.

And so I present to you: plant trash! AKA what's left behind after Longwood Gardens spring cleaning.

This tiny town needs to better inform its residents about what can and can't be recycled.
